The Fun They Had throws light on an intriguing aspect of the technological world we will have in the future. Accordingly, it’s set in the future where two children bandy the way effects worked in the earlier days. Further, they talk about the books which comprise paper rather than the tale books they’ve now. It’s rather intriguing to read about the discussion between the little kiddies. They get fascinated by the conception of‘ academy which prevailed in the days of their grandparents. Also, they also talk about how those days were much further fun. The Fun They Had does show us the reality of technology taking over in the near future. 

The story begins with two children named, Margie and Tommy. It takes place in the world of the future where computers dominate everything. Also, it also shows how the conception of seminaries and classrooms has converted fully.

It’s the time 2157, and Margie is writing in her journal about how Tommy planted a book. This book was about Tommy’s forefather when he was a little sprat. Margie learns about how they used to publish all the stories in paperback also.

Farther, they read the book themselves and find the feeling of turning runners over rather funny. It was funny because they weren’t in the habit of reading still words, only bones in stir that too on a screen. We learn that in the future, there are no books, only tale books. They store them in Television sets and computers.

After that, it takes an intriguing turn when they bandy academy. Margie learns that seminaries were veritably different back also. They had factual persons who were preceptors. It’s surprising because she has only robots that educate her.

Also, she doesn’t like the academy because of a lot of reasons. The academy she studies in doesn’t have any classmates. In fact, it doesn’t indeed have recess or playground.
Margie and Tommy study in a virtual classroom. They’ve robots as preceptors. Most importantly, her‘ academy is coming to her bedroom only.

It’s a room full of electronics, robots, and widgets. The computer software teaches her everything. When Margie attends her academy after learning about the earlier bones, she starts wondering. When she starts studying, she can not help but suppose about the earlier days.

Margie wonders about the fun her grandparents would indulge in. She imagined kiddies from different neighborhoods coming together jovially to attend the academy.
Also, the fact that they were tutored the same thing regaled her. It was because everyone would help each other out with the schoolwork. Therefore, in the end, she’s left wondering about the fun they had.

Ans: No, Margie lives in a complete technology world. So she had never seen a real book.

Ans: Margie noticed it strange that the words published in a book stood still rather of moving the way they did on a screen. Either, the idea that someone would write a book about seminaries was itself strange for Margie.

Ans: A Telebook is a book that can be read on-screen. The words move on the screen for the readers to read.

Ans: Margie had been constantly failing to perform well in the terrain tests given by her mechanical schoolteacher. In order to find out the reason behind this, her mama transferred for the County Inspector.

Ans: The County Inspector took piecemeal the schoolteacher and after examining it, assembled it again. He braked up the terrain sector of the schoolteacher because it was geared up a little too quick for an average ten-time old.

Ans: Margie was doing poorly in terrain because the terrain sector of the mechanical schoolteacher had been acclimated to an advanced position. In order to help her, the County Inspector braked down this sector to an average ten-time position.

Ans: Formerly, Tommy’s schoolteacher was taken down for nearly a month because its history sector had blanked out fully.

Ans: Yes, Margie had regular days and hours for the academy. The mechanical schoolteacher always turned on at the same time every day except Saturdays and Sundays. This was because her mama believed that learning at regular hours helped little girls learn better.
